He Already Knows What I Need

Matthew 6:8 says God already knows what I need.

My life truly is not my own. My plans, my dreams, my hopes, my desires, He knows them all and up until now, I have simply lived selfishly for myself. I pray now that He will take those plans, hopes, dreams, and desires and use them for His glory and my good.

Many times I have prayed that very thing, but not until being faced with a life/death situation have I ever really truly turned them over to God. I surrender. A very easy thing to say, but not so easy to do…until now. I give myself away so that God can use me for His purposes, His will, and His glory. I can trust Him. Truly trust Him.

God is good and I may not always understand what He is doing in my life or why, but I can trust Him. I can trust Him because of His promise in Jeremiah 29:11…He alone knows that plans He has for me and my life. Plans for welfare and not for calamity to give me a future and a hope. He has promised that every good gift comes from Him and I can trust Him no matter what my world looks like or what I am going through. I can simply trust Him.

I can trust Him because His mighty hand owns it all.

Until next time….God Bless
